Is this net a little overkill? Maybe. But it is pure awesomeness! It has a sticky rubberized grip that makes it impossible to loose no matter how much trout slime you have on your hands. I was a little concerned about how the carbon would hold up to dragging and dropping on the ground but surprisingly, so far, it seems invincible. The price is a little hard to swallow when you can buy a wood net for under $20 but who cares!
