Free Beginner Fly Tying Class in Kamas, Utah.

The Free Beginner Fly Tying Class taught by Fishwest is a one-time, two-hour lesson that teaches the basics of fly tying. This class is geared towards budding anglers who want to gain an understanding of the materials and processes that go into tying your own flies. The course starts off with the basic tools that are most commonly used, including the bobbin, bodkin, threader, and the whip finish. We then transition into how to dress the materials chosen for the fly, and why those materials were chosen in the first place. All required tools and materials will be provided, but if you have your own tools you are welcome to bring them.
