Hatch Outdoors Finatic 4 Plus Generation 2 Reels
Ratings & Reviews
Just don't submerge it.
A good reel as long as you don't get it wet. I tried a Finatic for my 5 wt. Its a decent reel. Its cool looking, and I like the handle. It has a strong enough drag with a good range of adjustment. The main problem is that water gets in the little hex screw hole that is used to change the retrieve direction. Water gets into the stacks of washers and the reel starts to shudder when stripping off line; and the drag doesn't work properly. Also the Spool release knob is really-really hard to turn. Spool hard to change. Theres a lot of retrieval resistance and theres not enough porting in the arbor so my backing don't dry!
