Bio:

Nate was born and raised in the great state of Florida, where he spent his early days learning how to fish with conventional tackle in the world-renowned Mosquito Lagoon. Shortly after high school graduation, Nate enlisted in the United States Army and eventually deployed to Afghanistan. After deployment, Nate moved west to the mountains of Colorado and Utah.

Nate loves exploring the Utah backcountry in search of wandering blue lines and prides himself on fishing our local waters over 200 days a year. When he’s not exploring the various streams in the area with a fiberglass fly rod and a small selection of dry flies, you can find him serving his country as an Army Recruiter in the Salt Lake Valley or working towards a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management from the University of Tennessee.

Fishing Experience:

Nate has completed the Utah DWR Cutthroat Slam and is currently chasing the Western Trout Slam. Aside from his freshwater pursuits, Nate has begun to experience the highs and lows of saltwater fly fishing. He has travelled around the Caribbean, Yucatan, and Southern U.S. in search of redfish, bonefish, permit, and tarpon.
