Great Tool!

These are great attachment points for tools and other small accessories. The quick release pin makes it easy to relocate and the cord has no sign of break down after three years of use.
Its ok.
Gordy!
I've been using one for my hemostats for years. Its ok. The coils aren't very strong, it hangs down bounces around and gets snagged on stuff. The aluminum case is very pretty, but serves no purpose other than to offer an attachment point to the vest. But its still there. It is well made like all fishpond gear.
Pretty good.
Mosquito Harry
Works fine but its kinda big and awkward compared to the spool type; and kinda gets in the way sometimes. Cool looking though and plenty secure.
Awkward to use
Sanches
Solid, no fear of losing tackle, but is also awkward to use and gets in the way. Loon's zingers are easier to use and cost about half.
Okay retractor

I was excited to try this one out because my Fishpond pack is designed to work with these zingers. It's made well. I found two issues with the design though. If you connect anything of weight to it, the retractor extends pretty far and swings around. The second is that they just do a heat meld to the end of the elastic material. This is the secure point for your snap or ring. I've had that joint fail. I use these with my Fishpond pack, but I use regular retractable zingers on everything else. This Fishpond is a little pricey too.
