WELCOME TO FISHWEST
The first Fishwest Fly Shop opened its doors in 2008, and we’ve been serving local anglers and visitors to Utah ever since. Today, Fishwest is a full-service fly fishing outfitter with locations in Kamas and Park City, Utah offering flies, apparel, fly fishing essentials, and a multitude of educational resources including classes, guided trips, and other events. The shop staff has the knowledge and experience to point local and traveling anglers in the right direction for a successful day on the water.
With locations in Kamas and Park City, Fishwest is surrounded by some of the most productive Utah fisheries, and you can be on the water within 20 minutes of the front door of either of our shops. Utah is known for its incredible hatches and productive small streams as well as the world-renowned Green River. Even though it is fairly new to our program, Fishwest guides and staff have been fishing the area for many years and know the Green River well. In addition to in-state angling, Fishwest hosts trips to incredible fishing freshwater and saltwater destinations around the world.
Not only do we outfit local anglers, but we have all the gear necessary for the traveling angler at both of our locations. Our location in Kamas is open year round and is a full-service fly shop situated between the Uinta Mountains and Middle Provo River, with a robust inventory and expansive selection of fly rods, reels, wading gear, flies, and more. It also serves as the meeting point for many of the guided trips we offer on the Middle Provo and Uinta Mountains.
Our Park City location, which is conveniently located on Historic Main Street, is open seasonally from spring through fall and is an invaluable resource if you’re visiting the area during peak fly fishing season and would like to book a guided trip on our local waters. And, if you would like advice on where to fish, which flies to use, or just need to pick up some essential fly fishing gear, our experienced shop staff is more than happy to help make your time on the water a success.
Although we’re unable to stock everything we offer online in our shops, if there’s a product you’d like to try on, cast, or get your hands on, we’re happy to bring it into either location from our online distribution center.
