Andrea Jeffrey

Bio:

I moved from California to Utah with my family when I was 12. I attended SLCC for their pharmacy technician & graphic design program before I went on to guide fly fishing professionally along with a small florist business to support the career change.

Fishing Experience:

At 16, my dad introduced me to fly fishing. On Sundays he and I would sneak out of church (not by my mother’s approval) and head for the river. The summer of my 18th birthday I asked my parents to attend Hubbard’s Guide academy in Emigrant, Montana. My dad agreed under the condition he came too, which led to the beginning of our guiding careers. In 2015 my life changed when I had my first experience at a two-handed rod, I was ruined - I fell in love with the casting and the art of presenting a swung fly in search of steelhead. These days in Utah & surrounding states you can find me sharing my fly fishing passion with friends, mentors, clients or with my three kids, Emery, Addison & Harper Mae. For in the mountains, my feet in the river and a rod in my hand(s), my heart is full.
