Chad Agy

Chad Agy is a Salt Lake City-based emergency physician who struggles with a near-pathologic obsession for fly fishing. The sport took hold while he was a kid growing up in Alaska, where he explored various sloughs and lakes in the region, and harassed his fair share of grayling and chum salmon. These days, Chad splits most of his time between California and Utah. Though he will always be a small-stream trout fisherman at heart, he recently started to dabble with warm-water species like muskie and bass. He enjoys planning masochistic adventures to inhospitable places where big fish live, both locally and internationally. Chad looks forward to connecting with the fly fishing community as a Fishwest Ambassador, and sharing his adventures to come.
